REPORTING STALKER AND/OR MALICIOUS CONTENT TO BIGHIT

HOW TO PROPERLY REPORT PURPOSELY INVASIVE & MALICIOUS POSTS & ACCOUNTS TO BIGHIT

Now Open: Unified Reporting Portal for Violation of Artists’ Rights

Date of issue :   2024.09.23       HYBE

Hello.

This is HYBE.

We’ve launched a unified online portal for reporting violations of artists' rights, to safeguard the rights and well-being of HYBE artists: protect.hybecorp.com

The website will replace the existing legal response hotlines, as we have integrated all artists’ reporting channels into one unified system.

The portal is designed to help fans report defamatory posts and copyright infringements, and will allow for faster and more systematic responses.

Reports of malicious posts can be submitted under one or more of the following categories: ▲Defamation/Insult ▲Rumor/False Information ▲Sexual Harassment ▲AI Deepfake Abuse ▲Stalking/”Sasaeng” Behavior ▲Threats to Artist's Safety ▲Sale of Flight Information ▲Fraudulent Viral Marketing ▲Others.

Notably, we have created a separate category to expedite and bolster our response to illegal pornography including AI-generated “deepfake” sexual exploitation content, which has become a serious social problem in recent years. We actively monitor domestic and international platforms, including Telegram, X (formerly Twitter), and Discord, for deepfake-related content. Based on the findings from our internal monitoring and the reports that we have received, we are working closely with investigative authorities to coordinate a joint response. Additionally, we are seeking to strengthen our collaboration with relevant government agencies, including the Korea Communications Standards Commission, as well as relevant civic organizations. The creation and dissemination of fictitious explicit photos and videos of an artist is a blatant digital sex crime that not only infringes on the artist's human rights but also severely undermines basic ethics. We are committed to taking a firm and decisive approach against such activities.

Reports of copyright infringement can be submitted under the following categories: â–˛Music â–˛Videos â–˛IP content (portraits, logos, etc) â–˛Merch. You can report copyright infringement cases that illegally utilize or distribute an artist's intellectual property including music, videos, portraits, and logos.

We will continue to take regular legal action against malicious posts and copyright infringements through our real-time internal monitoring system and reports from fans. Cases violating the artist’s rights will be prosecuted without leniency, regardless of circumstances.

We deeply appreciate your unwavering love and support for HYBE’s artists. Please do not hesitate to submit your reports through our online portal.

HYBE will always strive to ensure that the rights of our artists are fully protected.

Thank you.
